Summer season Important for Easy Dinners – Run Quick. Eat Sluggish.

Inventory Your Freezer with Presto Pesto 

Pesto is my go-to sauce to maintain stocked within the freezer for straightforward summer season dinners. Summer season meals must be easy – spend extra time enjoying exterior and fewer time cooking! The dinner potentialities are countless when you may have just a few jars of Presto Pesto within the freezer. I like to recommend doubling the recipe and freezing in half-pint freezer-safe glass jars.

  • Pesto Pasta Salad (penne, pesto, olive oil, seasonal veggies)

A lot goodness goes into this little jar of magic!! Pesto is excessive in anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting components. 



  • 2 cups tightly packed basil, arugula, kale (stems eliminated) or combo 
  • 6-ounce wedge Parmesan, rind eliminated, quartered 
  • 1⁄2 cup roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews) or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1⁄2 cup extra-virgin olive oil 
  • 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon positive sea salt 

In a meals processor or high-speed blender, mix the greens, Parmesan, nuts or seeds, and garlic. Pulse till finely floor. Add the oil, lemon juice, and salt. Course of till easy, scraping down the edges as wanted, till totally blended. 

Switch to a widemouthed glass jar and retailer within the fridge for as much as 5 days or within the freezer for as much as 3 months. 

Dairy-Free: Substitute 1/2 cup white beans (cannellini) and 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon white miso paste for the Parmesan. 

Baked cod filets and roasted summer season veggies and potatoes topped with Presto Pesto.
